General John J. Pershing Memorial Hospital DBA Pershing Health System is a 25 bed Critical Access Care facility that opened for business as a Not-For-Profit Hospital January 11, 1960 located in Brookfield MO. seeing the need to offer a larger scope of services Pershing Memorial celebrated a Grand Opening for their new Outpatient Facility October 4, 2008.
At that time a State of the Art Emergency Room was included in Pershing’s addition in 2008 as well as a new Laboratory and Radiology Department. Community Medical Associates was brought into the hospital walls to provide more convenient access to ancillary departments.
Renovation included: employee dining room, kitchen, moving of the business office and Home Health/Hospice into renovated space at Pershing Health System, our Physical Therapy department was renovated at a later date.
In summer 2010 Pershing Health System signed a contract with McKesson Paragon to convert their current Patient Accounts system to a full Electronic Medical Records System which will provide a complete electronic records system for all patient information. October 31, 2011 Pershing will go "LIVE" on their new system. Keep checking back for updates on how the EMR project is progressing.
We provide care for all ages and provide a full range of services from our Clinic, ED, Outpatient Surgery, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Radiology, Lab Services, Home Health and Hospice.
